This restaurant is part of the Peasant and the Pear group of restaurants which i have always enjoyed. This location is on North Broadway in the former space of the Counter Burgers. They have not done much to the space but it did not need much as it's clean and modern. It's on the louder side inside and outside, it's right on N Broadway. It's fine that way not too loud. We were there for lunch on a weekday and were seated immediately. The servers were attentive. The food is very good. It's essentially american fare. Menu has just the right amount of options. It was high quality in appearance and flavors. I will for sure be back but there was not anything that stood out so much. It would be good for a business lunch. Prices are a bit more than i would seek for a solo lunch

Full disclosure, I already knew I was going to like this place before I went. I've dined at their spot in Danville, and the one in Alamo, and I'm never disappointed. Soon as I saw the Diablo prawns, I knew what I was going to order. I didn't order it this time, but next time I go, I'm getting the pear quesadilla. Scrumptious. Since this one is a stones throw from my house, I'll definitely be going back. Sandy, if you're reading this, are you still a Raider fan?

This was a cute store. They have an open concept so you get really good air flow even if you sit inside. We came here for a quick snack and everything was super good. The bread and butter was a classic and I felt I could eat the butter alone. The fries were delicious and the sauce that comes with them only made it better. The flatbread tasted fresh and not too greasy at all. The service was quick and workers were helpful. They also have dog bowls if you bring your pets. Lovely spot.

Dinner at The Little Pear. A nice clean martini and the beer battered broccoli I'm OBSESSED with!! I could just have this and be happy... but we had more. The kids pretzel bites satisfied my kids! The Nashville chicken sandwich (hot!) was crunchy, and spicy, and cool with a huge pile of fries. The shrimp appetizer was 4 prawns in a garlic caper dipping sauce- I do wish the bread was on the side instead of under about kept some crunch when dipped. Julia Childs beef bourguignon was hearty dish- tender beef in a wine reduction sauce over mash potatoes. Lastly the star- the HUGE chicken parm. Two huge crispy breasts breaded, fried, and smothered in sauce and cheese. The pasta is fine but nothing compared to the perfectly cooked broccoli paired with it! Great family dinner!

Service was a little slow, they seemed under staffed, but everybody was very friendly. Food was excellent, atmosphere was nice. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Had Saturday brunch and it didn't disappoint. I had the avocado toast and it was great. Husband had the Blackhawk hash and said it was fantastic. Kids grilled cheese was good size and the fries were perfectly crispy and tasty. They also brought little choc chip pound cake type mini muffins complementary after our meal and they were perfect.
